Press Release: Ilala Municipal Council will conduct inspections on all buildings (old, new, under construction, etc) which are in the Ilala Municipality, their agents who will conduct such inspections on their behalf are called Design Plus Architects, their purpose is to see if the buildings have been constructed properly and according to their standards, they will check if all rules and regulations have been properly followed, they will check if the building permits were properly issued, they will verify if the constructions are in accordance with the permits obtained, and they will take legal actions on all those who would not be meet the above requirements. As per their notice, the start date of this exercise is from today (01st August 2013), they have not mentioned until when this exercise will continue!!!
