Tanzania's Taifa Stars jets out without two key playerz

Tanzania Taifa Stars jet’s out for Uganda without two of their key players ahead of their return leg of the Africa Nation’s Championship (CHAN).

The duo includes midfielder Mwinyi Kazimoto, who disappeared mysteriously from the team’s camp and defender Shomari Kapombe who flew to Holland for trials.

However, Tanzania head coach Kim Poulsen has promised to turn the table against their hosts(Uganda Cranes) who won the first leg in Dar es salaam,Tanzania with a solitary goal.

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has however appointed Kanoso Abdoul Ohabee as the centre referee for the eagerly awaited tie in Uganda. He will be assisted by Andirvoavonjy Pierre Jean Eric and Jinoro Velomanana Ferdinand.

The fourth official will be Andriamiharisoa Hubert Marie Bruno while the match commissioner will be Ismail Kamal from Ethiopia.

Taifa Stars are in Mwanza, Tanzania perfecting their tactics for the Saturday showdown that will determine who qualifies for the Chan finals slated for South Africa next year.

Taifa Stars who are fully sponsored by Kilimanjaro Premium Lager,face a tall order of scoring two clear goals without reply to book their finals ticket.

Stars last qualified for the 2008 finals held in Cote d’Ivoire, but could not go past the group phase. Uganda also appeared in the 2011 event in Khartoum, Sudan.

In his last visit at the stadium on the touchline, his Kilimanjaro Stars lost 3-0 to Uganda at the semi-final stage of the Cecafa Challenge Cup in December.

In 2008, Tanzania eliminated Uganda Cranes at the same stage with a 2-0 goal aggregate over two legs to appear at the finals.
